Training
The Committee's fifth Annual Training Day will be held on the Friday, 1st October 2010.
The main training event will be a full day session on information giving, informed and voluntary consent. This will be facilitated by the Centre of Professional Ethics at Keele University.
The second event will be a masterclass in data protection and in research ethics.
Members unable to attend either event may wish to choose from a range of formal courses available.
The Council of Europe (Conseil de L'Europe) Draft Guide for Research Ethics Committees is available on the Council's official website and may prove a useful tool for members in assessing their personal training requirements.
